Jane Blake – Textile Artist
Jane trained in textiles at Huddersfield University, specialising in constructed woven textiles. Since then, her work has moved away from traditional weave techniques as she has developed her own ideas. Her methods involve using fusible fibres, incorporating imagery and text, and utilising various bonding and trapping techniques.
She is a qualified post 16 tutor in art and design and textiles. She also runs workshops and is happy to work to commission.
